Northland Paradise Lodge

Located within a 1/2 Kilometer (1/4 Mile) of downtown Temagami and on the shores of picturesque Cassels-Rabbit Lakes is Northland Paradise Lodge. Directly in front of the lodge is the White Bear Old Growth Forest, a 2,000 acre (800 hectare) ancient ecosystem of giant red and white pines (up to 5 feet or 1.5 m in diameter) and a variety of at least twenty five different species of rare northern orchids. The lodge is accented in cedar and knotty pine while our eight comfortable units have electric heat, town water, three piece showers and full cooking facilities. All linen and cooking utensils are supplied. Our dining room seats 18 hungry guests comfortably.

Browse through our gift shop for souvenir shirts, hats, tackle and tanned wild fur. Free boat launching and mooring is available for guests. Use the lodge as a starting point to explore over 50 Kilometers (30 Miles) of pristine, almost uninhabited wilderness of our lake system which is rich with walleye (pickerel), northern pike, smallmouth bass, lake trout and whitefish. Pack a lunch and swim at any of the sand beaches while listening to the cry of the loons.
